Instructor: Ian Nordeck

Ian T. Nordeck is a creative director and designer with over 20 years of experience shaping visual narratives and crafting meaningful design solutions. A lifelong artist, his creative journey began in childhood—sketching worlds for his imagination to explore—and was later enriched by a diverse path, from serving as a military policeman in the Marine Corps to earning a BFA in Design with an emphasis in Creative Writing from the Kansas City Art Institute.

With a holistic approach to design, Ian blends graphic design, industrial design, and illustration, always seeking to push beyond the obvious and capture deeper meaning. Teaching has become a natural extension of his creative work, as he finds joy in guiding others through the artistic process, sharing his experience, and inspiring new ways of thinking. Now, through workshops spanning printmaking, drawing, bookmaking, and bullet journaling, he fosters an engaging, hands-on environment where creativity thrives and participants can explore the dynamic intersection of artistry, storytelling, and craftsmanship.

Join Ian at Wolf + Wren and discover the beauty of printmaking—where process meets possibility.
