Join us at Wolf & Wren for a relaxed summer evening spent learning the art of modern calligraphy. Whether you’re brand new or just looking to refine your hand, this beginner-friendly workshop will guide you through the fundamentals—letterforms, stroke techniques, and how to create beautiful, expressive writing.

We will provide all the tools and materials you need, so you can simply show up and enjoy the process. You’ll leave with new skills, your own calligraphy supplies, and a fresh appreciation for the beauty of writing by hand.

Skill-level:  All levels from beginner to experienced.

Instructor: Hilary King

Hilary is a Northern Colorado native with a deep love for creativity in all its forms, particularly hand lettering. What began as a personal hobby quickly grew into a full-blown passion, and Hilary now shares that passion with others through professional work and classes.

Though Hilary has been lettering professionally for about a year, creativity has been a lifelong pursuit—whether doodling, experimenting with new styles, or exploring ways to make letters feel like art. With a background in education, teaching comes naturally, and Hilary blends this skill with a creative flair to make the learning experience both engaging and colorful.
