Zentagle Gift Tag Workshop

December 6th from 9:00-10:00am

Location: Wolf & Wren, 331 Main, Longmont CO

Discover the calming and creative world of the Zentangle Method—this time with a festive twist! In this class, you’ll learn simple, meditative patterns to transform blank tags into one-of-a-kind works of art. No drawing experience needed—if you can write the letters i, C, S, and O, you can create something beautiful. Using just a pen, pencil, and paper, you’ll explore the relaxing process of pattern-making while embracing the Zentangle philosophy that there are no mistakes—only opportunities to get creative. By the end of class, you’ll have a set of unique, hand-drawn gift tags ready to add a personal touch to your presents. Come unwind, learn something new, and leave with thoughtful art you can share.

Required materials:
-Squares of paper - roughly 4x4 inches - this makes it easier to turn while we work - something a little thicker similar to card stock - anything good for pen and ink will work for this
-Pen - Micron or Copic, you will want two sizes- PN or 01 AND a 08 (available at Wolf & Wren)
-Colored pencils or thin markers
-Blending stump or tortillon (optional)

Instructor: Stephanie Oliver

Stephanie Oliver is a botanical illustrator as well as Certified Zentangle Instructor. She graduated from the Society of Botanical Artists, UK and School of Botanical Art & Illustration from the Denver Botanic Gardens. Stephanie teaches classes professionally both in person and online at the Denver Botanic Gardens and for private groups.
