Welcome to the world of Zentangle Method, a relaxing and creative art form that anyone can enjoy! The best part? No need for advanced drawing skills—if you can write the letters i, C, S, and O, you can create beautiful designs with ease. Using just pen, pencil, and paper, you'll dive into a stress-free drawing experience that focuses on pattern creation and mindfulness. Each session, you'll learn new, fun patterns to fill your artwork with endless possibilities. Most importantly, you'll embrace the wonderful "no mistakes" ethos of the Zentangle Method — every line is part of the process, and every creation is uniquely yours. So grab your supplies, relax, and get ready to explore the calming art of the Zentangle Method!

Required materials:
-Squares of paper - roughly 4x4 inches - this makes it easier to turn while we work - something a little thicker similar to card stock - anything good for pen and ink will work for this
-Pen - Micron or Copic, you will want two sizes- PN or 01 AND a 08 or 1. --This is not recommend for technical pens or quills.
-Pencil - 2B or B works best
-Blending stump or tortillon

If you don't want to gather the materials before the class you are welcome to purchase these materials as a packet to have available to you the day of the workshop. Two different kit options are available.

Instructor: Stephanie Oliver

Stephanie Oliver is a botanical illustrator as well as Certified Zentangle Instructor. She graduated from the Society of Botanical Artists, UK and School of Botanical Art & Illustration from the Denver Botanic Gardens. Stephanie teaches classes professionally both in person and online at the Denver Botanic Gardens and for private groups.
